This is a traditional form of staining make-up applied to the hands or the body. It is applied to the top of the skin producing a stain that may last up to two weeks. It is used for fashion and decorative effects.

Originating form the Indian Sub Continents and Middle East,Mendi Henna make-up is applied to the bride prior to her wedding creating beautiful decorative effects. There are an increasing number of Therapists trained in this body art and it will be available on their salon treatment list.

Will this make-up take very long?

This will depend on how much is applied. A small figure would probably take 10 – 20 minutes.

Is this Semi-permenant make-up?

No. This only stains the surface of the skin and is not classed as semi-permanent.
