  • watch what the celebs do and what they are doing with their nails on popular shows such as X Factor. Kelly Rowland was spotted wearing yellow nail varnish during the first auditions, a very popular colour for summer
  • make Varnish this year’s hottest gift purchase. Create a simple gift box set as limited edition trio of your most on-trend colours. Brand box with your salon and tie ribbon. A great way to increase sales offering gifts people can’t buy in stores.
  • when doing any of the above, tie it in to current fashion trends such as jewel toned nail polish or the latest beauty craze like Crackle nail polish.

When the consumer market gains this is where the professional market can flourish, utilise consumer trends to your advantage and your business will always be ahead of the game.
