A BABTAC surbey has revealed that half of Britons would be more likely to try a beauty treatment if one of their favorite celebs had already given it a go. 

Celebrities were voted more influential than family members and colleagues, yet friends were the biggest inspiration for splashing out on a treatment. 

"It's clear that our celebrity culture has a lot to answer for; but in reality, this is to be expected," comments Emma Roberts, marketing executive at BABTAC. "Celebrities often pioneer new trends and demonstrate the creme de la creme in new cutting edge treatments, so it's understandable that when we see the results on our TVs and in glossy magazines, we want to recreate them ourselves."
