Today Arlene Foster announced that Northern Ireland will be introducing a 4 week partial lockdown of the country beginning this Friday the 16th October.
Close contact services, apart from essential health services, have been included in this lockdown. So all Hair & Beauty services must shut (this includes both salon and mobile based services).
Foster advised that they have not taken this decision lightly and promised there would be additional help to cushion businesses but thus far details of any further financial assistance have not been outlined.
