So it's not surprising that many men and women will be buying spa and grooming packages for the men in their lives this Valentine's Day.

Capture the interests of any woman or man shopping for gifts by offering a range of packages with different treatments for every kind of grooming preference. There is the package for the hesitant man, who is not a regular to salons and may not ever have stepped foot into a salon. There is the proudly groomed man, who is a regular to eyebrow shaping, facials and waxing. There are the men who would enjoy the relaxing, indulgent treatments and of course there are many variations in between.

How you package and market these all depends on what you know about your clients and your salon's personality. You could offer, for example:

  • a 'Valentine's night complete prep' package which includes an indulge and unwind back, neck and shoulder's massage, Indian Head Massage and a shave;
  • a 'Relax and recharge' package to give him a cut-throat razor shave, massage and invigorating facial;
  •  the 'suit and tie' package for the man who recognises the importance of immaculate grooming for his professional reputation. It could include a close shave, eyebrow shaping, chest and back wax and manicure; and
  • 'skin care and premium grooming' package for the man who enjoys taking care of himself but does not want to look like he tries too hard.  It could include a facial, skin analysis and advise on the ideal products for his skin type.

Make buying the gift vouchers or booking for these packages as simple and accessible as possible. Include 'book now' and 'purchase gift voucher' buttons under each package on your website and in your email marketing. Market each of the packages on your social media pages with quick links to book or buy.

Be sure to mention the packages to your clients when they are at your salon, if they have just enjoyed a wonderfully indulgent treatment, they are more likely to want to give the gift of such an enjoyable experience to their loved one!
